The OldsletterΒ is written by me, Jeremy Streich. I spent the past 5 years writing a young adult fantasy novel, The Tree of Knowledge, and building a Podcast Marketing startup. Now I’m distilling for you the lessons I’ve learned along the way.

The Oldsletter is my attempt to say F**k you to social mediaβ€”we’ll see how that goes.

New issues arrive every other Sunday at 8am EST, plus of the occasional one-off post.

What you’ll find

  1. Lessons learned from the life and antics of this 20-something.

  2. Book suggestions and snippets

  3. Timely and provocative quotes

  4. News from my novel

Here are some reasons to consider subscribing.

Step away from the news.I have a particular disdain for the news. Here’s a blog where I explain why. It’s called The Oldsletter for a reason. No news here. Only truth.

Be philosophical.Β I’m too young and too fickle to be a philosophizer, but I respect them more than anyone. In The Oldsletter you’ll find learnings from new Philosophers like Yuval Harari, Sam Harris, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and Naval Ravikant, as well as the old gems like Jean Jacques Rousseau, Karl Popper, Friederich Nietzsche, SΓΈren Kierkegaard, Hypatia of Alexandria, Michel de Montaigne, and beyond.

Learn some science. Another amateur hobby of mine is reading neuroscience, biology, physics, which applies to our lives. I only scratch the surface, but I’ll do my best to explain why a concept could be interesting for you.

Be creative. If I were pious, Creativity would be my religion. My mission is to help other young people 1. tell stories and 2. be creative, because they both saved me during my struggles.

So how about it?

Catch you soon.
